Urban Health Wear Online Shop Terms and Conditions of Sale for Consumers

Welcome to Urban Health Wear’s online shop! These terms and conditions ("TCS") apply to all purchase orders submitted to Medanta Oy’s online shop on https://urbanhealthwear.com/ (“Urban Health Wear online shop”), covering all purchase agreements that a consumer (“you”) enters into online with Medanta Oy (“Medanta”, “we” or “us”). There are separate terms and conditions in place for our B2B customers, please find them here.
By using Urban Health Wear online shop and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by the TCS set out herein. Please make sure you have read and understood the TCS carefully before placing any orders on Urban Health Wear online shop. We recommend you should keep a copy of the TCS for future reference.
2. Company information, language or service and customer support
Urban Health Wear online shop is operated by Medanta Oy, a company registered in Finland under registration number 2206754-8. Our registered address is Hämeentie 155, 00560 Helsinki, Finland. You can contact us by e-mail at email@example.com.
Urban Health Wear online shop transactions and customer service are conducted in Finnish and English. Calls to our customer service are chargeable, please find information on the applicable rates at www.medanta.fi.
3. Eligibility to purchase
In order to make purchases on Urban Health Wear online shop you must be at least 18 years old, have a functioning e-mail address and, for ordering Products, an address in one of the countries listed in Section 8 of the TCS.
For ordering products, you will be required to provide your personal details. You are required to provide information about yourself that is true, accurate, current, and complete in all respects. Should any of your personal information change while your order is still being processed, you must notify us immediately.
Furthermore, you will be required to provide payment details that are both valid and correct.
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Products in the Urban Health Wear online shop are ordered by choosing them from the shop’s selection and adding them into shopping cart. In the shopping cart you can still change the amount of the items or delete some items from the cart before proceeding to the checkout for placing the order and payment. The availability of an item in the shopping cart may change before the payment transaction. Medanta reserves the right to limit the number of discounted items purchased per customer.
By confirming your purchase at the end of the checkout process, you enter into a binding contract with us and agree to accept and pay for the product(s). You are requested to check the contents of your order carefully before confirming and paying it. You shall pay for the product(s) in full at the time of ordering by supplying us with your payment details.
Once your order has been placed, you will receive an email confirming the details and acceptance of your order. It is your responsibility to check that the information on the order confirmation e-mail is correct.
Medanta reserves the right not to accept your order. This may happen, for example, if an item happens to run out of stock before the status has been correctly updated on the Urban Health Wear online shop.
The prices of products sold in the Urban Health Wear online shop remain in force until further notice or for the duration mentioned separately. The price of an item displayed on the Urban Health Wear online shop at the time the order is confirmed by us will be honored, except in cases of patent error. We shall be under no obligation to accept or fulfil an order for a product that was advertised at an incorrect price.
Prices shown on the Urban Health Wear online shop are inclusive of VAT. The prices of the items do not include delivery costs or potential payment fees, which will be notified in the shopping cart and at the checkout in connection with your order and also in the order confirmation sent to you. The delivery costs depend on the delivery option chosen by you at the checkout. If the order contains products with varying delivery times, we shall be entitled to deliver the products to you separately. In this case, you shall only be charged for a single delivery.
You shall pay for the product(s) in full at the time of ordering by supplying us with your payment details. Once your payment has been processed and accepted, your order will be processed by Medanta. To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple, and secure Urban Health Wear online shop uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
At Urban Health Wear online shop, we offer payment by credit cards (VISA, Master Card, American Express), Apple Pay, PayPal, PayPal Express or bank transfer (local variations depending on shipping destination).
Depending on your chosen method of payment, either Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. or Checkout Finland Oy acts as an implementer of the payment handling service and as a payment service provider. Either Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. or Checkout Finland Oy will be shown as the recipient in the invoice and Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd or Checkout Finland Oy will forward the payment to the merchant.

Whilst every effort is made to make sure the delivery times and availability information on Urban Health Wear online shop are accurate, we may from time to time discover errors and cannot guarantee availability or sufficiency. Occasionally the delivery of certain products may take more time than usual. Certain products are only manufactured in limited quantities and, consequently, we may also sometimes be unable to deliver selected products.
If we find out after we have received your order that a product is temporarily unavailable or its delivery would take more time than estimated, we will immediately notify you by email using the contact information you have provided in connection with your order.
If it turns out that we are not able to deliver the product at all, or it would take over 30 days until it could be delivered, we will inform you about this and refund the payment to you by using the same payment method that you have used in connection with your order. In these cases, the sale of the product is deemed as cancelled. However, when contacting you we will also give you the possibility to keep the sale in force and accept a longer delivery time or a replacing product.
We deliver products to delivery addresses located in the following countries: Andorra, Canary Islands, Faroe Islands, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Vatican City, and all countries in the European Union. The ordered products shall be delivered to you by our partners by the means of delivery chosen by you at checkout (local variations depending on shipping destination).
Product delivery times depend on the availability of the product and the destination of the delivery as well as the chosen means of delivery. Normally products are shipped to you within 2–7 workdays. We strive to deliver products as soon as possible and within thirty (30) days from confirming your order at the latest.
Any shipments unclaimed from the pickup locations will be returned to Medanta after approximately fifteen (15) days. Not collecting your order from the pickup location will be considered as withdrawal of your order even if you have not expressly given us a notice of withdrawal. In such cases we have the right to collect a return handling fee of 10 euros from you, which will be deducted from the refund made to you of the value of your order.
9. Delays in delivery
If delivery is delayed from the estimated delivery time, we will do our best to contact you by email as soon as possible using the contact information you have provided in connection with your order and provide you with a new estimated delivery date for the product.
We shall be liable for delays in delivery of the product in accordance with the consumer protection legislation in force. However, we will not be liable for any such delays in delivery which are caused by any acts or omissions on your side (such as providing us with incorrect personal information or failing to inform us about the change thereof).
10. Inspection of products, defects and complaints
You must inspect the delivery immediately after having received it to ensure that products delivered are intact and are not otherwise defective. You shall also ensure that the delivery contains all the products ordered by you, unless we have informed you that we will deliver some parts of your order later.
Should you notice any deficiencies in the delivery or product, you must notify our customer service thereof without delay and at the latest within fourteen (14) days by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We make all reasonable efforts to accurately display the attributes of our products, including composition and colors. The color you see will depend on your computer system, and we cannot guarantee that your computer will accurately display such colors. The product will not be considered as defective if it is slightly different colored compared to how it has been displayed on Urban Health Wear online shop.
If a deficiency is confirmed in the delivery or product, we shall be entitled in the first instance to rectify said deficiency within a reasonable period of time or replace the product with a defect-free item. We shall be liable for any defect in the product in accordance with the consumer protection legislation in force.
We shall not be liable for any damage to the product that occurs after delivery, due to normal wear and tear or use against care instructions or repair or maintenance not performed by Medanta. For the sake of clarity, no warranty is given to any of our products.
1. Right of withdrawal
You may withdraw your order without giving any reason from the date you place the order until 14 days after receipt of the ordered product(s) by filling out the withdrawal form and sending it to us. You can also simply send us an e-mail, in which you should include your name, contact information and order number. Include “notice of withdrawal” as the message topic.
If you would like to exchange any product in your order, you must return the item you wish to exchange and make a new order. Once you have received the product(s), you must keep them essentially unchanged and undiminished until you have decided to keep them. If you have handled the product(s) other than to the extent that is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods (for example, resulting in it becoming damaged, stained, washed, modified or worn out), you will be liable for any diminished value of the product(s) resulting therefrom.
Exceptions from the right of withdrawal
For hygiene reasons, certain products in Urban Health Wear online shop are non-returnable and non-exchangeable unless seal is unbroken. Such products include e.g. underwear and surgical (face) masks. Also products, which have been made to your specifications or clearly personalized cannot be returned or exchanged.
Returning the products and refunds
For the return to be accepted, the returned items must be essentially in the same condition in which they were sold and with any seals intact. You must return the products without delay and within fourteen (14) days from sending us the notice of withdrawal. Any and all complimentary extras included with your order must also be returned. Please include the return form filled out, as appropriate, to your return.
Please note that financial responsibility for the return is yours until it reaches us, so we recommend that you keep the receipt of your return shipment. In case the shipment gets lost on its way and there’s no receipt, you will be liable for the lost goods.
You will need to bear the costs for the return shipping. We will therefore refund you the value of your order deducted with the amount of the return costs. We will provide a refund using the same method used to make the payment. Another payment method may be used for the refund provided that you expressly consent to such change.
Any exchanges will be processed as new orders.
We will provide a refund as soon as possible and at the latest within 14 days of receiving your notice of withdrawal, provided we have received the items or evidence of you having sent back the items. Making the refund will not generate any additional charges to you.
If you withdraw your order, we will refund you the same amount that you paid for the product(s), deducted with the amount of the return costs, even if the price of the product(s) would have later changed.
2. Force majeure
We shall not be liable for any defects in its products, delays in deliveries or other breaches of contract that are attributable to causes beyond our reasonable control (force majeure). Even in situations such as these we shall, however, continue to strive to provide the best possible service to you.
4. Right to vary terms
We may modify these TCS from time to time, so please check back often. Any variation to these TCS shall be uploaded to https://urbanhealthwear.com/and will be in force immediately thereafter. If you do not agree to any change to the TCS then you must immediately stop using the Urban Health Wear online shop. By continuing to use the Urban Health Wear online shop, you agree to be bound by the modified TCS.
If any of the terms within these TCS are determined by any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, such term, condition or provision will to that extent be severed from the remaining terms, conditions and provisions which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms should be interpreted to exclude or limit Medanta’s liability with regard to any matter for which it would be unlawful for us to limit or exclude our liability.
6. Governing law and dispute resolution
These TCS are governed by and construed in accordance with Finnish law, excluding its choice of law provisions, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Finnish courts. However, as a consumer you may also submit disputes to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi). Before submitting the dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board, you should contact Consumer Advisory Services at Local Register Offices (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi).
If you have a complaint about us, please email email@example.com giving full details including date of purchase and order reference number where applicable and your full name and address and contact details. In the event of a disagreement concerning the TCS or application thereof, you and we shall strive to resolve the dispute primarily through negotiations.
